Foot & Knots!

Here’s my friend Joni’s business: Foot & Knots!

I know a lot of you who love their flip flops more than their shoes. It’s time to ditch those Havaianas, Ipanema, Gisele Bundchen, Spartan, and Crocs slippers and buy a new pair from Foot & Knots.
You see, they’re more colorful and unique!

I just ordered a pair from Foot & Knots. I got these in size 8.5:

Here are some photos of the slippers:

@22 Weeks

This was me last Saturday after finally shopping for maternity clothes. I bought stuff which I could still wear after I give birth. You see, I’m a big girl so I really expected to be really big when I get pregnant and even after.

I feel I’m at my ugliest. Pimples here and there. Rashes here, stretch marks there.

I am at my fattest and heaviest. I now I will grow bigger and gain some more. Since we found out I was pregnant, I already gained ___ lbs. And I think I am way over the expected pregnancy weight gain.

But you know, even if I feel ugly, fat, and heavy, and that sometimes I get hurt with all the teasing of the people, I am at my HAPPIEST. I feel very grateful to be blessed with a life inside of me.

Oh what joy this baby brings me, his daddy Josh, and the rest of our family whenever he kicks! Sure, going to the bathroom at least thirty times, eating ‘n’ meals a day, and having a hard time getting up, walking, and reaching for stuff are quite challenging but this baby, a gift from God is so worth everything.

A few more months to go. I am more than half-way through my pregnancy. Each day I thank God for this blessing.

Continue to pray for me, Baby Noah, and Daddy Joshie. :)

My First Baby Purchase

Even before I got pregnant, I’ve always enjoyed going to baby stores to just look around and do my window shopping. When I found out I was with child,  one of the first things I wanted to do was go to the mall and start shopping. Of course, I didn’t just yet. Josh and I are on tipid mode so shopping for unnecessary stuff is definitely out of our list.

But last week, I finally succumbed to buying something for our baby: I bought a pair of onesies I saw at Indigo Manila! I was looking for new maternity clothes but I thought I’d buy my baby his/her first clothes first so I finally made the purchase. Check ‘em out:

We still don’t know the gender of the baby (hopefully this Saturday on my birthday) so I chose the safe colors. Green and gray would look good on any baby. I was so ecstatic when I received the package because I got them online.

Silly as we were, Josh and I would sniff the onesies and imagine there is already a baby wearing them. I proudly showed them to our families because of excitement. Well, I know it’s too early but hey, I’m gonna be a mommy and Josh is gonna be a daddy soon! It’s never too early to prepare.

He asked me what I want for my 26th birthday and I only have two major wants: a netbook and a Quinny Zapp stroller plus the Maxi Cosi carrier. I prefer the latter.

One of these days, I’m gonna post my Baby’s Wishlist…errr, more like Mommy’s Wishlist for those who are planning to give me a “surprise” baby shower. Hahahaha!
