A Clearer Sight this Christmas
My friends know that I’m glued to my MacBook almost 24/7 because I just love the internet! Plus I earn a living doing Internet stuff. While I am content with staying at home, sometimes my body just aches to go out. I feel my feet being dragged outside. My mind wanders off to Christmas sales and shopping. And my eyes…oh how my eyes hurt for staring at the computer screen for more than 15 hours everyday.
Looks like a Lasik Eye Surgery will be on top of my Christmas wish list this year. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do since a friend of mine ditched her contacts and eyeglasses for a clearer eyesight. It cost her more than P60,000 but it was sure worth it to have again 20/20 vision after more than 20 years of wearing spectacles. Too bad I still need to wait until I’m 25 before I can undergo one because by then,my eyes would have fully developed. And besides, I don’t have money so that means I’ll have a few more months to save, save, and save. Putting on contacts can be such a hassle and my eyeglasses are too old-fashioned.
Ugh, the girl in the photo above is me. And no, that ain’t the old-fashioned eyeglasses I’m talking about. It was just one of those crazy days. :p
