Blessing Others
Blessing others isn’t always about giving money to those who really need it or when you have ‘extra’ to share. It’s more than the money you’re willing to shell out. It includes helping and encouraging others as you encounter other lives lived for God.
Other Christians are Christ in flesh. We have a responsibility towards others and this should not be neglected. We are accountable for each other’s actions. When they sin and you are aware that they are sinning, it is only right to approach and rebuke them with God’s LOVE and MERCY. Meaning, you lead them to the ‘Way’ and in the way Christ would do it— with love, compassion, and humility.
Freedom in Christ does not mean you are free to sin and then ask God for forgiveness. You have to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and ask yourself if your sins or decisions in life could also affect other Christians.
Pain can be caused by one’s sins. It’s when you become self-centered that you become oblivious to the needs and feelings of others. This way, you are not able to bless others as freely because pain and hurt are what you are offering.
Righteous living is certainly not easy but because of GRACE, a Christian can do so. Seeking for his own good only prevents the blessings of God from coming. Free yourself from selfishness so that you may freely bless others in every way.
Humbly ask God to help you with it because you can’t do it on your own. It is only by grace that you can.
