Boracay Honeymoon - Day 2 : First Bora Sunset and Buffet

February 01, 2008 By: Reah Category: mush, raves, travel No Comments →

After island hopping, lunch, and snorkeling, we went back to Panoly and decided to enjoy the beach there. What better way to enjoy the Boracay sunset than with the one you love. I’m glad that my first time in Bora was with Josh. Really perfect for honeymooners like us.

It was also our first time to enjoy Bora’s nightlife! We went back to the main beach. I wore a pretty dress. Walked ’til Station 3 while looking for a restaurant. I fell in love with the lechon I saw so I insisted that we eat there instead. Hehe.

Thank you Joshie for allowing me to eat lechon even if I knew you hated my appetite. It was something I don’t usually do you know. Pig out on fried pig. (Oh really?) Hehe. Seriously.

Enjoy the sunset photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! Praise God for His creation. =)

As mentioned in my previous blog, here are our photos during our first official Bora activity : boating …which included, well yeah, riding a boat, lunch at Puka Beach, and finally, snorkeling.

White Beach

For lunch, we had Spicy Squid and Spicy Calamares. Yum!

Didn’t enjoy snorkeling that much. And I got a wound on my left foot for stepping on the corals. Pffft. But it was all fun, the whole afternoon was just fun fun fun because I spent it with my boyfriend..err…husband now…and with a few Bora boatmen(who btw, asked nothing but money..mga kuya, mukha ba akong ATM? haha :P).

Here’s a video of the Boracay main beach just before we stepped on the boat : (more…)

Boracay Honeymoon - Day 2 : Sa Umaga

February 01, 2008 By: Reah Category: mush, raves No Comments →

We woke up at around 9:30. Thirty minutes after the Panoly shuttle has left. A special ride would cost us P 350 so we decided to walk and ride the trike instead. Hiking! Hiking while I was oh so dressed to hit the beach.

We had breakfast at some local resto which we thought was cheap. We both had tapsilog and bill totaled to P400 plus. Tsk. While waiting for the food, I saw an “Internet Available” sign and decided to log in to my Multiply for 30 minutes. I paid P35 imagine! Thirty-five pesos for dial-up connection and only one comment left. Pffft.

We did nothing in the morning yet. Walked along beach strip to Station 3, ate my cappucino ice cream, and bargained for the cheapest boat ride. One local boatman approached us and offered his boat for 3 hours for only P 1,300. Cheap! As compared to the other guy with P1,500. We negotiated with him so we’ll leave at around 12 noon.

And yeah, I did a little shopping too! :D

PS : It was so cloudy then. I will not edit my photos. Pray that I get the dslr soon. Haha! :P
