Boracay Honeymoon - Day 2 : Sa Umaga

February 01, 2008 By: Reah Category: mush, raves No Comments →

We woke up at around 9:30. Thirty minutes after the Panoly shuttle has left. A special ride would cost us P 350 so we decided to walk and ride the trike instead. Hiking! Hiking while I was oh so dressed to hit the beach.

We had breakfast at some local resto which we thought was cheap. We both had tapsilog and bill totaled to P400 plus. Tsk. While waiting for the food, I saw an “Internet Available” sign and decided to log in to my Multiply for 30 minutes. I paid P35 imagine! Thirty-five pesos for dial-up connection and only one comment left. Pffft.

We did nothing in the morning yet. Walked along beach strip to Station 3, ate my cappucino ice cream, and bargained for the cheapest boat ride. One local boatman approached us and offered his boat for 3 hours for only P 1,300. Cheap! As compared to the other guy with P1,500. We negotiated with him so we’ll leave at around 12 noon.

And yeah, I did a little shopping too! :D

PS : It was so cloudy then. I will not edit my photos. Pray that I get the dslr soon. Haha! :P

Boracay Honeymoon - Day 1 : Club Panoly

February 01, 2008 By: Reah Category: mush, raves No Comments →

On our first day, we were just too tired to go to the main beach. And it was raining a bit so Josh and I decided to just stay at the most exclusive beach in Boracay The Panoly, formerly Club Panoly.

We had lunch at Cafe Havana. Josh had their special club sandwhich while I ordered buffalo chicken wings. If we only knew that the serving would be generous and the price uber expensive, we’d probably ordered just one dish. But still, plates were emptied and our meal charged to Room 2212.

It was still raining after we had our lunch so we played chess instead. Chess?! On our first day in Boracay…whatta…

I could have taken better pictures if I have a dslr. I’m lazy to edit them so I shall post them as is. I’m doing this to help me remember that very special week.

Vatel Manila : PADLA-BUNSOY (January 20, 2008)

Aside from Mike of Mango Farm, Dylan Gozum of Vatel Manila wrote a very touching article on his blog re our wedding. Read the rest of the entry below:

Today, we debuted our newest ceremony setup, a take on a setup that was first done in Pearl Farm, Davao in 2007. This isn’t exactly like it but it’s almost there - clean and pretty.

The aisle flowers used were only the yellow chyrsanthemum and calla lily. They were joined by really nice pine tree needles, iris, and rosal to make for a striking arrangement that is both clean and suitable for the site of the wedding.

For the first time, the gazebo’s reverse side was used. This setup was supposed to have been used last December 26, which was postponed at the last minute.
