I told yah, I’ll be watching the news. Steve Jobs introduced new MBPs, MBs, and a 24 inch LED Cinema Display, plus some extra.

I am no longer in the mood to blog about the Apple event since I already posted five on our tech blog. There’s no point in repeating what I said so I’ll just post them here. Okay?

New MacBook features multi-touch glass trackpad

It was Steve Jobs himself who said that there will be new notebooks so it’s only a matter of time before we see them. But right now, I’ve got information that the new MacBook will feature a multi-touch glass trackpad. Looks like the iPhone Laptop we featured a while ago will soon become a reality, at least on the trackpad department.

I’ve long been wanting to try The Ice Cream Bar eversince I read about it here. I remember my parents would bring us to the old Magnolia House every weekend when I was a kid. Maybe that’s why I love, love ice cream to this day.

There wasn’t any good movie to watch last Thursday so I decided to try the place. We tried the great Swensen’s in Bangkok, Thailand more than three weeks ago so I thought it was time to compare.

I invited my brother to come with me and Josh because I knew he wanted to try Ice Cream Bar too. It was past 10 pm already but the bar was open ’til 12 am so it was still okay to proceed.

I ordered coffee crunch while Enoch ordered a banana split. Josh nothing because he’s lactose-intolerant(poor baby) so I ordered the Best Potato Chips in Town for him..err, me.

My verdict? Ummm, I wasn’t too impressed with their ice cream because they’re just too sweet. But the Best Potato Chips in Town (yes, that’s what the meal was called) was really the Best Potato Chips in Town! That was the best part of the experience for me.

Pricey, pricey too. For the two ice cream and a plate of chips, our bill amounted to P580.

So, will I dare dine at The Ice Cream Bar again? Definitely! Not to get my ice cream fix but to gorge on the Best Potato Chips in Town and try the other items on the menu. Hehehe.
