Something’s new with Multiply…
I just noticed some new things on the Multiply Interface. There’s the Shop button already.
I got excited because I thought I’d be taken to something similar to eBay but no, it’s just Multiply’s official shop should you want to buy calendars, photo prints, photo books, and cards. If they’d posted a T-Shirt, I’d gladly get one or two.
And there’s the In Progress section which brings you to the MEDIA LOCKER. I checked it and found out that I’ve already posted 299 photo albums, 328 blog entries, 1 calendar item, 3 links, 162 videos, and 8 audio files. Total is 801! Wow! That’s a lot. I started this site in 2006 but I’ve already posted that many.
I know there are people more addicted to Multiply than me(ha!) but I must admit that this social networking site, along with my website, has done me and my friends so many things, both love strengthened and harm inflicted included. I wish to tell you how somebody hurt me and my loved ones through Multiply but that story deserves another blog entry. After all, the 801 posts aren’t enough. Hehehe.
In today’s hi-tech times, the Internet has both become a blessing and a bane. But for us Christians, we can turn this into a powerful tool not just to evangelize but to keep in touch with the rest of the family whenever, wherever.I, for one, am glued to the Net as my work revolves around it. I work at home and the only office equipment I have is my MacBook, with Internet connection of course. But what amazes me is not that I can work from home; what amazes me is the almost limitless possibilities with which I can communicate with family, friends, and church members using today’s available technologies.
