Home Now
Finally, we have Internet at home! My and Joshua’s apartment I mean. It took us weeks. It was a choice between SmartBro, PLDT DSL, and Globelines Broadband but applying for it can be such a hassle. Glad that Global Destiny Cable was at our building last Wednesday and gave me an idea. I called Friday then they came Sunday! Fast! They actually wanted to come the next day Saturday but we were out.
Since I got married and moved in with Josh, I’ve been working at my “office” at my parents house. I walk with Josh everyday(that’s when I’m up early) to my old home. The Internet connection costed me P3,500! 1k for the modem, 1k for one month advance, 500 installation fee, and the other 1k for the extra cables used @ 15 pesos per 1 foot. Pffft. It took the Cable Guy about 3 hours. Josh had to call me thrice to ask about Digory(MacBook). I was pissed that the guy didn’t know what to do when I warned him I’m using a Mac. Anyway, all’s well that ends well. I can say that Digory is really at home with Mommy and Daddy.
Digory, old and beat up on his new “bed”.Oh, I’ll still be going to my old office at my parents’. But since we have Net already here at the apartment, I won’t have to rush “going to work” and stay late just to finish work. The 2:30 am uwi won’t happen again.Josh was relieved too that he won’t have to wait for me. Only, like he said: Wala na syang asawa. Hehehe.
