The other day, I received a text message that read:

Need SMS marketing? Learn how we can help you or your business. Visit www.xxxxxxxxx.com today!

I was so annoyed I sent this fierce reply:

SMS marketing is as annoying as SPAM e-mail. This is SPAM. Did you know it has already been a problem in UK, China, US, and now the Philippines? In UK, recipients can file complaints with Information Commissioner’s Office. Now, would you want that happening to you?

I happened to write an article about such type of marketing days before that so I knew about the stuff. I didn’t hear from them since then. So annoying.

Btw, I hate SPAM e-mails and text messages but not the canned SPAM. That one, I love!
